Exped #2 photos

June 21st, 2005

Well between been totally and utterly exhausted from the expedition, the heat has not helped much, besides all that I have been working really hard and to make things a little more convenient, I’ve been spending quite a lot of time with Natti aswell… so this is why my photos are late.

Enjoy: Expedition #02 – Ashdown Forrest.

Sorry if they’re not as nice as the Lake District pictures, I was not much in the mood of taking photos given we are and were going through a heatwave at the time and also had my sunnies broken on day one.

I’m Off!

Last night’s follow up…

June 16th, 2005

Well after arriving home last night fairly late and yawning like a fool, I slept like a log but really didn’t struggle to get up this morning at 6 to go to work.. well, so little I struggled to get up that i’m here writing a blog entry because I’m already to go and I’m a little early.

The gig was great, Natti and I were right up front in the centre only feet away from Rivers (lead singer) and what made it best of all was, they didn’t play much of the new stuff which I don’t know and focused their efforts on the songs I know… mostly from the Blue album and Pinkerton.

During the mild moshing that was going on and progressive pushing natti and I did to move about I found heaps of things on the floor…. and no; I’m not a dwarf, I literally bent over in the middle of the concert and picked up all the stuff i found, in order of salvage: mobile phone, wallet, belt and finally a pound coin on the way out. Obviously I had to do the good honest deed and go to the police station on the way out and give the wallet (which had £30 in it) and the mobile in… the belt was taken by Natti’s friend and the pound slipped into my wallet.

I’m sorry to say I didn’t get any decent photos… and I’m rather annoyed as I don’t have a single photo of Natti yet 🙁 Oh well, I’m off to Ashdown forrest tomorrow night so I’ll try and get some decent walking photos.

WEEEEEEEEEEzer!

June 14th, 2005

Tomorrow night Natti and I are going to see Weezer. Give us a shout if you’re going to, we could meet up!

In other news, well work is great, weather is fine…. girlfriend is the best, I’m at the height of my health, and kung-fu and tai-chi are just spiffy….. can anything go wrong? (probably!!) hehehe.. watch me get the blues!

Oh I’m off to the Ashdown Forrest this weekend as part of my DofE Gold I’ll get the photos up as soon as I’m back (if i can!).

I’m sorry about the drivel I’m spouting out these days.. I just don’t have much time for the compy or thought in particular (which is a good thing, believe it or not).

Bai!

Having nothing to write about

June 8th, 2005

Hello fair fellows from internet land. I’m really struggling to share anything at all with you guys. Nothing seems to be coming to me, to want to share it. I have idea snippets now and then but nothing that seems to flow. I even feel boring for Natti which is never a good sign.

I’ll keep you posted should anything come up.

I hope you enjoy them!

I forgot to Mention!

May 31st, 2005

Hi people, I have just been away for the past 4 days up in the lake district for my Duke of Edinburgh award thingy. Photos are pending… much like that shave and that bath I’m promising myself… and others around me.

I would have mentioned this before my departure but I think having Natti help me pack my bag was a little counter productive… even if it was great. She is sooo awesome!

*Edit*
Oh and I’ve just noticed that the blog was not working in such a manner that would permit people to post comments. That is now fixed.

When everything turns itself upside down

May 21st, 2005

Having just shut the door on an adorable old lady pleading charity for developing nations; I have decided that it is a good point to make about how “do gooders” being the people you have to keep you eye on the most.

It seems hard for me to explain to these people that while their intentions of doing good are appreciated, their efforts do more damage than good. That being said I also stop myself to wonder why they actually do it and it always boils down to feeling better about themselves for their efforts. This makes me angry because all it is saying is that they just want to ease the guilted mind and make themselves feel and look better by having said they tried.

Charity does not work. This fact is proven and needs not to be discussed here, I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt that you already know this and do not need me to explain it further. So these vain cretins bothering people in their houses asking for money are just trouble makers… they’re the cause of the decline of many great civilizations the same breed of idiotic minds that are everything they despise and are anything but that which they pretend to be.

So folks, next time some do-gooder knocks on your door asking for “your help” tell them quite bluntly to: “Go to hell!” That would be the best amount of help you can give them.

Unexpected…but nice

May 14th, 2005

I’ve recently been speaking a lot with Natti from the youth group I go to, we exchanged telephone numbers the other week because I had asked her if she’d like to go and see the Hitch Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy film as we had spoken about the books to eachother. We’ve been getting on like a house on fire ever since and it didn’t take long before we realized we had feelings for eachother. I’m just blown away that such a stunning and intelligent girl would take an interest in me.

Lets not broadcast this one too loudly… but I have a good feeling about this.

Saturday afternoons

May 7th, 2005

I’ve been contemplating this for a fair amount of time (spanning a few years now). What do people do on Saturday afternoons?

There is this period of time just after the shopping riot in the surburbanite shopping center and that Saturday night bar crawl that 99% of the English population seem to subscribe to.

I wonder where everyone goes? I’ve gone out looking on the streets and its absolutely empty! If you ever wanted to film empty streets and you couldn’t get the local authorities to grant you permission to close the road off…. just go out on a saturday evening between 6-7.

You may also notice that people also appear all to be offline at this same time… is the nation doing something I don’t know about?
